Day 95 April 12 water bottle flowers
These are so easy and you can really have fun with them. They are made from water and juice bottles that I painted just the outside then cut in half and cut to make pedals. If you layer the paint you will get a different color on the inside and the outside.

Day 94 April 11 zipper necklace
This is made from a double pull, open bottom - from a jacket - zipper. I cut the fabric away from the teeth and sewed them to make a loop. I then added a lobster claw clasp to the bottom pull and added a nest pendant that I had made. Both pulls are functional so the necklace can be worn many ways and with different pendants or charms. A lobster claw clasp could be added to the top pull for more danglers.

Day 93 April 10 braided headband
I covered a headband with black t-shirt material and then made a thick braid with that same t-shirt. I attached it to the covered headband and put it on. It looks marvelous.

Day 92 April 9 fork plant markers
I have lots of old silverware. I decorated these forks with some reclaimed copper wire and some paper beads I've made then bent the tines so they can hold a card or nameplate. They look great in a gift plant.

Day 91 April 8 fork handle
These cupboards didn't have any handles so I bent the tines of an old fork and bent the handle and screwed it on. I can hang keys from them and know where they are.

Day 89 April 6 plastic cup jewelry
A lot of plastic cups are no.6 plastic - the same as Shrinky Dinks. I cut up an orange and pink cup and a green and yellow cup, added some detail with a sharpie pen, and then shrunk them in the oven. What I got are these cool discs for pendants or bangles.

Everyone has seen sock monkeys, but have you seen the sock monkey bottle cozy? I used the same socks and made the monkey face on the heel and here it is. Bring your favorite sparkling juice to the next party in style.

Day 85 April 2 t-shirt seat cushion
I was going to make a rug using a hula hoop using this weaving method but I thought I should start small. I used a wire hoop for the frame and wove strips of t-shirt to make this cute seat cushion. I am glad I started small because I have a really big hula hoop.

Day 83 March 31 winged heart
This is an origami piece. I used the dust jacket from the book I am reading and it is all one piece. I like that it has a little pocket that you can put something in.

I used the same technique on this necklace as the magazine roll necklace but I used strips of denim from old jeans. It is very soft and pretty.

Day 81 March 29 denim belt bag
To make this bag I cut off the bottom of some jeans and sewed the top. Then I transfered two belt loops to the back and a button hole from the waistband for a closure. Add some lining and a button and I got this little belt bag for my stuff. Everything but the lining and button came from an old pair of jeans.
